Sue Hemming was born in Birmingham in 1956. From an early age she drew & painted as most children do - but as she matured so did her creative instincts.

Sue has developed a style & technique which is both vibrant & exciting. What's more, it is highly distinctive & unusual, perhaps best described as "semi-abstract", having elements of both cubism & the colourist movement encapsulated in it.

An abiding love of animals, particularly cats, has been the inspiration for much of her work. This together with her great sense of humour in creating truly imaginative titles adds a further dimension to her pictures.
